The Campaign in Wisconsin
See also: Wisconsin Travel by the Candidates and their Wives by County
from March 2, 2004 through Nov. 2, 2004  See Rationale, Methodology and Limitations.
Bush-Cheney: Wisconsin received much quality time from the Republican ticket.  President Bush did five bus tours and Vice President Cheney did one bus tour in the Badger State.  details> Kerry-Edwards: Sen. Kerry made his last campaign stop on Election Day morning before heading to Boston in La Crosse.  Every day from October 25 on one of the four Democratic principals was doing an event somewhere in Wisconsin. Signalling the importance of the state, in late September Kerry spent three and a half days preparing for the first presidential debate in Spring Green.  Kerry did three bus tours in the state, and Sen. Edwards also did a bus tour.   details>
