His experience also includes director of constituent relations, and communication specialist for the New Jersey General Assembly; public affairs director for the MWW Group; field representative for the National Democratic Institute in Baku, Azerbaijan; and organizer for the New Jersey Tenants Organization.

Lautenberg's successful campaign in Nov. 2002.  Prior to joining the McGreevey administration, Hagan was political director for the McGreevey for Governor campaign in 2001.  Masters degree in Public Administration from Rutgers University.  Undergraduate degree in secondary education and history from Drew University.
