Rudy Giuliani:  On Tuesday November 2nd you have a chance to help shape history by supporting those who have shown they're unafraid to lead.

Tim Michels:  Russ Feingold has spent 12 years saing no to homeland security, no to pay raises for our soldiers, and no 245 times for lower taxes.

I'll be a leader that'll say yes to keeping America safe and strong.

Rudy Giuliani:  Leadership.  That's why we need Tim Michels in the United States Senate.  Join me.  You'll be part of making history.

Tim Michels voiceover:  I'm Tim Michels and I approve this ad.

Notes:  This was the closer for the Michels Senate campaign.  The National Republican Senatorial Committee also paid to run this ad.  It was by far the most heavily aired of the political ads appearing on WITI Fox 6 on Nov. 1, 2004, the day before the Election, appearing 31 times in the 7 1/2 hour sample examined.  In contrast to this sledgehammer approach, the Feingold campaign used a much lighter touch on E-Day minus 1.  It ran fewer ads and had three different ads in the rotation..
